How much does your credit score improve when a car repossession comes off?

my credit score was in the high 500’s a couple of months ago. last month a car repo was removed from my report, but i dont know the score. does anyone have an idea how much my score should have improved? im trying to buy a house and need a 620.

Housing repossession?

I have 28 days to hand over my house under repossession to the bank. I will be capable of paying the entire arrears within this time but i am afraid after i pay it, the bank might still seek eviction. is this possible?
is there a way of ending the court process the second i pay my arrears?

can you go and view properties before the auction, what happens about a survey,can this be done before the auction, also do you need the money in cash with you, are most properties in bad condition or repossessions and is it a good idea,in general can you get a bargain!? help!

What is actually involved in mortgage repossession?

A friend of mine is facing imminent repossession of their house as they cannot meet mortgage repayments. They seem quite resigned to this, but I am concerned they aren’t giving this enough thought and looking at any way out – largely because they think just letting this happen will be the cheapest solution…
Does anyone know what is actually involved in the process? Does a person become bankrupt as well – or is that a separate issue? I assume this would destroy a persons credit rating for some time?
Thank you for advice so far! As I understand they have talked to mortgage company extensively. I am light on details, but think this has been building for some time and they have already had payment holidays etc.
The CAB sounds like a sensible place to contact, if I can get friend to to speak to them.

if the police have been to my house but i have lost my card they left?

i have had a neighbour harrassing me and doing awful things but they keep calling the police about stupid things, anyway the housing manager has issused me with a letter of repossession, i cant, find some things i have lost dates etc of things cos i am stressed and forget to put things places. my solicitor wants to find out who is phoning the police whether it is someone with an axe to grind do you think he will find this out as i have a nasty neighbour who keeps phoning the poliice and has done awful things to me and is trying to make us homeless

equity in house about to go to court for sale or repossession?

this is a tricky 1 , i bought a house 10 yrs ago and let it go to voluntary repossession, it sold , i buried my head in the sand moved on married and got a mortgage with my husband , now the trustee in ancruptcy has put a charge on our home and are trying to reposess , they say they want my share of equity in the house which totals approx 15,000 , how does my husband raise the money when there is a charge on the house , does this affect his credit rating , would a judge really repossess even though they want 15 grand my home is valued at 100 grand , it goes to court very soon , i am ill with worry

Need a sample letter explaining a repossession to the lender?

My ex husband stopped making payments on a car I cosigned on after I filed for divorce. The car was repo’d before the divorce was final. Anyway, I’m trying to buy a house and the lender is requesting a letter explaining the repossession. Can anyone provide me with a site that has a sample letter?
