mortgage with kent reliance building society?

By dave · Comments Comments Off
mortgage arrears

does anyone know how flexible is kent reliance building society about your credit to get a mortgage? i was suggested to take one from them by a mortgage adviser, but my credit isn’t high (no missed payments or arrears, but no on-time payments either because i don’t have any). is it worth trying or should i look for something else? this society doesn’t do agreements in principle, you need to apply with all the documentation straight away.

low cost loans

Me and my husband are looking to buy our first home and I just want to make sure that we get the best deal we can get with buying the first home. I always hear about all the free stuff you can get for the first one. I don’t want to miss that chance. My husband is in school and we have 2 children so surely we can qualify for something. I would love to know some websites to go to and look at the low cost loans b/c our credit is not that great.

hiya cool hal. are you saying that repossessed people get rehoused by housing associations? thats better than a box i think.
theres one thing cool hal that i like about you even though you support brown??? and that is your reasonable-ness. unlike the other resident labour supporter who has changed his name, he is spiteful and unpleasant.

Arrears Charges?

By dave · Comments Comments Off
mortgage arrears

A previous mortgage company charged me £50 month after month for arrears adminstration even though we had come to an arrangement to reduce the arrears over a period of time. With the current high profile about financial institutions making charges for more than actual costs can anyone advise me as to whether I could make a valid claim to get some of these charges refunded to me? In other words is it reasonable for the mortgage company to charge me month after month when the arrangement is working well and no action is required unless the arrangement breaks down? Many thanks.

house repossession

I know a repossession has a negative affect on your credit score, but can you request a lesser penalty on your credit report from the credit union? I just learned about charge-offs, is that better or worse on your credit score than a repossession? My boyfriend got a repossession recently and we are going to work to build up his credit in the next couple years so we can get married and hopefully purchase a house or condo. What would be the best way to raise his score in the next 18-24 months. I know the repossession will probably be on his credit for at least 5 years but is there anything we can do to better our chances to get qualified for home loan?

what you have now and let you pay the remainder in two weeks. Last time I talked to them, they wanted 9000 (incl. legal fees), now another payment is due. I can pay 8800 now and in two weeks I can pay 1000.

house repossession

We wish to buy a house and found a bank repossession on the market, when I had the water turned on for the house inspection and I was called and told that there was a water leak probably due to the fact that the house was not winterized soon enough. And that we needed to put the inspection off for now. We have now rescinded our offer because I am afraid that even if the leak is fixed that there will be other leaks popping up down the road. This will make me fearful and worried while we are at work or on vacation. I am also worried that there is a compromise in the plumbing and that there could be a very slight spray coming from a joint in the pipes and cause mold before I discover it. My realtor AND Mortgage broker do not seem to agree, but we are not willing to take a risk at this.

house repossession

Someone recently told me that if you at least attempt to make payment on loans or debts that the items can’t be repossessed is this true? Like if you make partial payments on a house or auto loan can they take the property?
I’m not sure if this person is correct and I am not having luck with research. It’s just informational more than anything to see if this person is telling the truth.

low cost loans

I am looking to get a personal loan. Can anyone tell me what activities they won’t offer loans for? I’m just curious. I want it for home improvement, but it just got me thinking about it.

ALSO can anyone recommend a low cost loan from anywhere?

rent back house

I’ve spent the last two years traveling due to work. Needless to say, by the time most of our mail catches up with us, we are already in collections. We always pay online when we can, but there are occassional bills that just can’t be paid online and somehow just slip though cracks. Now that we are in a position we don’t have to travel anymore, we want to rent a house and get settled so we can call in a bankruptcy lawyer and finalize the debts to be paid off.
The only problem we are running into is that when our credit gets run, a) we are denied b) they are requesting such massive amounts for the deposits (I’m talking six months rent as deposit plus rent plus pet deposit) or c) we just never hear from them again… after they take our money for the credit check. This is getting too expensive to keep getting credit checks run if all they’re going to do is say no or ask for $10,000 in deposit. For that amount, I could easily just get a home loan even with poor credit. Any ideas?
