I was looking at the grants for first time home buyers also. Where do you go to find the low cost loans.
ByMe and my husband are looking to buy our first home and I just want to make sure that we get the best deal we can get with buying the first home. I always hear about all the free stuff you can get for the first one. I don’t want to miss that chance. My husband is in school and we have 2 children so surely we can qualify for something. I would love to know some websites to go to and look at the low cost loans b/c our credit is not that great.

Do you plan on staying there 20+ years? If not, just rent.
Government promotion of home ownership is what caused this housing crisis. Only a small portion of people should own – those who are comitted to an area long term. When govt pushes people who would normally stay somewhere for 5 years (normally renters) into home ownership, they are often stuck with a home they cannot sell at the end when they decide to move.
Add to that property taxes, and the added bills and costs of problem solutions when owning a home.

here are some great sites for you :
This is a great time to be buying a home..Its a buyer’s market!
The best thing to do is get your “ducks” in a row and get pre-qualified for a mortgage. In this market, the seller is going to love a buyer that comes in ready to buy…
Happy house hunting
