i am in 1 1/2 months arrears with my mortgage and have just sold my house?

What evidence do you have to produce to make a first registration of land?
Posted by: | CommentsMy friend needs to sell her house and I would like to try and buy it.
she has lived there since 1978. She acquired the house in 1988 after her divorce. She financed to buy her ex out. She has refinanced since but for some reason none of the lenders have made the first registration and no charges are registered. She has a sub prime lender who has the deeds. She doesn’t appear to have anything that would evidence her title. She is in arrears with her mortgage and has absolutely no money at all for fees of any sort. I know that the land registry will charge her about £160 but that’s if she gets far enough to make the registration. She needs to know what documentation she needs to try and locate and if there is a way you can make a first registration without documentary evidence. She seems to be unable to get papers from her old solicitor who dealt with the divorce due to non payment of their bill(!). As it was in 1988 they may not have kept the file, especially if she didn’t pay them!
I am not in arrears with any payments,but flagging in the current economic climate and do not have age on my side.My mortgage has one of those flexible loan things attached so can borrow against that? Do not know what to do at present, please help!

Arrears after House Repossession — Help?
Posted by: | CommentsMy house was repossessed some time ago, but a solicitor’s company is now demanding money from me because the house was sold for a much lower value than what i originally bought it for.
Should there be any obligation on me to pay the difference since I didn’t sell the house.
In my opinion it’s illegal to damand money from someone whose house has been taken away with a court order.
Please advise me..
Arrears Charges?
Posted by: | CommentsA previous mortgage company charged me £50 month after month for arrears adminstration even though we had come to an arrangement to reduce the arrears over a period of time. With the current high profile about financial institutions making charges for more than actual costs can anyone advise me as to whether I could make a valid claim to get some of these charges refunded to me? In other words is it reasonable for the mortgage company to charge me month after month when the arrangement is working well and no action is required unless the arrangement breaks down? Many thanks.

what you have now and let you pay the remainder in two weeks. Last time I talked to them, they wanted 9000 (incl. legal fees), now another payment is due. I can pay 8800 now and in two weeks I can pay 1000.

i am in arrears, when my time come to find another mortgage product , im quite sure no one will give me a look in. To stay with the company i am with when my period ends , it automatically goes up to 2.69 above the bank of england base rate .do i need to worry ??

I manage rental properties and received a Verification of Rent/Mortgage form from a lender for one of the tenants. Can I be sued by the tenant/borrower for disclosing that her rent is in arrears?
