mortgage arrears

I am trying to save my primary residence from foreclosure. Or what other options do I have if I am 4 months in arrears with my mortgage company? $2,600 x 4 =$10,400. My credit is shot.

mortgage arrears

My husband and I have a joint mortgage but I do not contribute to it.If we divorce or separate will I have to leave the house?I cannot afford to pay the mortgage because my husband continued to remortgage in years past and also had us in arrears so the installment is now £900.We have 3 kids
I asked this question because he keeps saying that he pays the mortgage,it was his investment and if anyone has to leave it should be me.

lived there so technically there are no arrears. Should I tell them that or just ignore it and say no? I have asked for a bill repeatedly. Thanks

Once you’ve cleared all the arrears?

We went to Court last summer as we’d fallen into arrears with our mortgage. The Judge granted a suspended repossession order.

We’ve since cleared all the arrears off but the mortgage Co says the Order still stands even though the account is now bang up to date. Is this right? Sounds wrong to me.

mortgage arrears

The house was surrendered the house due to arrears, but only a few days ago. I now want to re-buy the house for my friend then sell it to get the equity out of the house and return the difference to the friend. Buying the house for me is not an option, neither is a family loan, they never work. The house was a council house which they now own.

Q1. Would a mortgage company refund the difference to the owner if/when the house sells for more?

Q2. Would the mortgage company allow us to pack back the arrears, now?

Q3.Is there a time limit to sell an ex-council property and not have to pay something to the council?

Help please… got to get this sorted and get the max equity out for the friend.

my ex has made no payments whatsoever so applied CSA they are taking direct from salary. This money is helping but not even scratching the surface of my mortgage, bills…. I am in arrears with my moortgage. My sols have told me that they could apply for a maintenace order which would cost £2000 but not gauranteed. Can anyone give any advice under what circumstances they grant these orders my ex was by far the main money earner. I have no contact with him nor has he seen his children for 6 months.

I am very worried about my current situation with my mortgage arrears. What steps do the banks have to take before they can reposses my property? How long does this process usually take and how many months do you need to be in arrears? Any advice would be helpful.

a home owner passed away and there is a co-signer on the property. I would like to know if the estate can take the co-signer to court if the co-signer does not want to sell the property because there were outstanding arrears on the mortgage that the co-signer had paid for. How do you buy out the estate if this is possible?
