How could we college students rent a house?

ok if me and a couple of friends in college wanted to rent a house and split the costs, could that work? i only have a little credit and they don’t have any, would anyone even rent to us? and how could we protect ourselves if one person stopped paying their share?

We were going to file bankruptcy to save our house then one of us became unemployed so now we are going to give up house due to it being to hard to afford and we are so far behind. We coud rent and have alot of money left over and be able to breathe again. It has been so hard for two years that it is killing us.

If you rent a house what utilities do you have to pay for?

I’m wondering if when you rent a house the owner pays any of the utilities or if it is the responsibility of the tenant. Do you have to mow your own yard and shovel your own snow? I’ve only rented apartments and not very familiar with the renting of a house.

Is there any way to rent a house by bartering services?

Like I’ve heard of people getting a house for very cheap because they promised to fix it up. I’m in the market for someplace really drop dead cheap, hopefully not a cheap apartment though. Or any other way to rent a house for cheap or free.

I know if you can get land, you can sometimes get a used mobilehome for the cost of moving it. My dad works with some mobilehome movers, so I’m hoping for rundown property to try that technique on.

What is the fastest way to sell or rent a house?

I am relocating to antother state and I have been in my house for only a year and I need some advice on how to sell it fast. I called HomeVestors and they said they were not interested and that I havent been in it long enough.
If I cant sell it I will have to rent it out but I am not sure how to get that process started either.

Is it better to rent an apartment or a house?

I am not in the position to buy a house or townhome just yet, so I still have to rent. I was thinking perhaps it may be a better idea to rent a HOUSE instead of an apartment in an apartment complex, etc., because at least in a house, its “stand alone” and I wont have to worry about neighbors stomping on my head, hearing their noise or being subjected to their bad habits that may disturb other tenants.
Am I right? Or are there disadvantages to renting a house as opposed to renting an apartment, that I am not aware of?
i cant exactly buy just now bcz of credit – my credit isnt good.
