How can I evict one person from a rent house?

I rent to two people, who both signed the lease. One has done considerable damage to the rent house. How can I evict him, In Texas, without having to evict the other person also? They are not legally married, but have a child together. The lease does provide for default of lease upon damaging the premises, but can I evict only one of them?

Why don’t people use squatting rights if their house is up for repossession by the bank?

Kicking a family out of their house because of unreasonable interest rates and greedy bankers is surely a human rights issue. Does it call for extreme/non-violent action, like squatting your own home??

Mortgage arrears: why should we help?

Suggestions are that the “government” should help those struggling with their mortgage repayments or those in arrears.
This makes my blood boil!!
Why on earth should the government use my (= taxpayer’s) money to help those people so stupid to have chosen to be mortgaged to the hilt?!!!

as there are so many these days, they cant all be rehoused by councils can they?.
dennis b. modest 2 up and 2 downers get repossessed too you know. and people in one bedroom flats.

theres one thing cool hal that i like about you even though you support brown??? and that is your reasonable-ness. unlike the other resident labour supporter who has changed his name, he is spiteful and unpleasant.

My husband and I are looking for a quick way to get out of our house. Not really wanting to go through the trouble of fixing it up to show buyers and go through the selling process. Saw an ad on tv for company that buys houses. Are these for real or just another scam? Any advice anyways?
