How to sell a house quickly (relocation)?

I am looking to relocate for a new position, but house purchase could not be negotiated as part of the relocation deal. So I am looking for a relatively quick sale (3-6mth time frame). I am in a slow market, with a mid-tier house price ($375-425K). What are the options that are available to me, and what are the likely costs (e.g., if I do a “buy your house for cash” deal, how much of a discount are they looking for usually?)

About those “We buy your house. fast!” companies?

OK… so my husband and I have two houses. I owned a condo before we got married and then he got the loan for the house we live in now.
We haven’t lived in the condo for 2 years now. The first year it sat vacant while we worked on clearing out our stuff. The second year we spent a few months cleaning and painting. Then we listed it for a few months but the market (Missouri) is slow. Now we’re renting it to a friend of my husband’s. My question is… I’m anxious to sell this thing and get rid of it. I was searching options on the Internet and came across sales pitches that claim to “sell your house fast!!” Has anyone heard anything bad about these companies? Has anyone used them?

Its been already about 7 months since I have made an offer to buy a house in short sale The selling agent keep saying the lenders are taking time , they dont update me of any status . I have an exclusive buyers contract and Iam the higgest bidder ? I there any way I can push this sale faster or send any kind of court or lawer notice to lenders to tell them to make decesion on the property ? how much time I have to wait ?: is there a limit to wait for answer ?

I still want the house the original price came in the market was 325k i offered 310k
can i send any lawyer notice to bank to speed up process or any other way to speed up process ?

What is the quickest way to sell a house?

My friends are trying to sell their house but I believe they are asking to much. Yes the house is pretty and huge but I don’t think it will sell. They are trying to move and buy another house but need to sell this one first. Any Ideas besides just letting the real state lady do her thing. They really want to sell ASAP.

I really know nothing about economy and politics and am too busy at the moment to learn so in simple terms… what caused this uk recession and what exactly is a recession?? A rise in living costs??
Will things be better when I want to buy a house in about 2 years??

I’ll sign over my interest in our present house if he lets me use his income to buy a cheaper place. He can do whatever he wants with the present house after that. He’s too slow and lazy to help prep the house for sale. Its not healthy for us to all be in here together anymore. I think he’s also using that to control me. I’m looking for a job but it might take a while to be able to buy a house. With his help it’ll be faster and fair I think. Anyone had this experience?
Since we are still married I can claim his income. Please only answer if you have experience doing this or know what I mean. (stbx means he’s my soon to be ex.)

just wondering.moving house, repossession,?

We’ve seen a gorgeous house that we would like to buy, and viewed it today. It was repossessed from the previous owners and i get the impression they were in ALOT of debt, while we were viewing the house debt collectors showed up!!
If we did buy the house is there someone we can contact to let these companies know these people have moved??
I really don’t like the idea of debt collectors or even bailiffs coming to my door over some one else’s debt, when its just me and my young baby home… :/
its worrying me enough to actually be a bit put off the house..
any advice welcome!!
